The Sustainable Santa Fe online community is a network for sustainability efforts in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
THE SUSTAINABLE SANTA FE COMISSION
The Sustainable Santa Fe Commission was created in April 2006 by the City Council and charged with drafing the Sustainable Santa Fe Plan.
A Youth Advisory Board was formed in 2008 to include a youth voice in the work of the Commission.
The Sustainable Santa Fe Plan was adopted in October 2008.
The plan addresses:
-greenhouse gas emissions and reductions
-community and ecological resliency in the face of climate change and peak oil
